How do we organize a live system?

Basically there is little difference between a project and a live system. The goal is to further develop and maintain the live system.

• The project leader is replaced by an Application manager, also called System manager.
• The project group is replaced by “super users” who are the first-line support for the users.
• IT and QA should still be involved.
• The sponsor team is still there – otherwise you will never make the system work in the organization, and believe me, I have tried.
• The live system’s new group is comprised of users who utilize the system for day-to-day work.
